Bordering the historic Gombe reserve in western Tanzania, the farmers of the Kanyovu cooperative work diligently to produce and harvest a superb coffee while taking action to preserve the natural habitat of the endangered chimpanzee population.  The continued development of this specialty coffee provides direct, positive impacts on the local eco-system as well as the standard of living for the producers.
