Chocolate Aroma - Light Acidity - Balanced - Sweet Finish - Medium Roast
The Story in the Cup...
La Familia Guzman Peru is grown just above 3,000 feet on a small, family
owned & operated farm within the mountains of Naranjas. Made
primarily from the Caturra, Typica and Catuai varieties, this coffee is
carefully produced and washed, yieliding a full profile, with chocolate
aroma - light acidity - and a balanced sweet finish. Peru is a Medium Roast.
With nothing but the clothes on his back, Senior Guzman settled in the
mountains of Northern Peru in 1992. From this rural plot of land, many
miles from the nearest road, the Guzman Family brought a thriving coffee
plantation to life and pioneered a warm homestead.
The income from this coffee provides them the means for improved
shleter, farm irrigation and a healthy diet for their quickly growing
family.
